The truth is that in many companies the people rarely know each other, and this in practice means that they might be less motivated to work as a group if they are required to do so. It turns out that one way to remedy this is to organize corporate events in order for people to get to know better and additionally to do it in a fun way.
This morning for the first time I had a chance to read about the idea of the escape room. I must admit that I would be really thrilled to go to a quest room liker this with some of my co-workers or family members. The idea sounds really fun and I would be absolutely excited to try out something to bring those close to me even closer together.
The idea behind an escape room like this one is to pitch two groups against each other with one goal in mind: escaping the room within a set amount of time. In order to escape, the groups need to use their imagination in order to overcome the obstacles imposed on them in the form of puzzles and other challenges. Overall, it seems like a nice idea for those companies where groups need to work closely together.
